Diglipur, 06 Oct: On 28.09.2026, the Hon’ble Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mayabunder, convicted the
accused in a road accident case registered at PS Diglipur vide FIR No. 51/26 dated
04.07.2026, involving rash and negligent driving that caused injuries to the victim. The
accused was sentenced to pay a fine of ₹16,000/-. The case was brought to conviction
within three months of registration of the FIR.
The conviction reflects the commitment of North & Middle Andaman District
Police towards ensuring accountability for rash and negligent driving and effective
prosecution of road safety violations.
