Sri Vijaya Puram, 07 Oct:
On 29.09.2026, the Hon’ble Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mayabunder, convicted the
accused in a road accident case registered at PS Kadamtala vide FIR No. 15/26 dated
15.07.2026, involving rash and negligent driving that caused injuries to the victim. The
accused was sentenced to pay a fine of ₹5,500/-. The case was brought to conviction
within three months of registration of the FIR.
The conviction reflects the commitment of North and Middle Andaman Police to
ensuring accountability for negligent driving and securing justice for victims through
professional and meticulous investigation.
