Sri Vijaya Puram, 07 Oct: Police Station Bambooflat have successfully solved the missing person case of Madid Singh @ Ram Singh (60), R/o Rajiv Nagar, Bambooflat, which subsequently turned
out to be a case of murder. The case was detected through sustained field investigation,
technical analysis, examination of witnesses, and collection of physical and circumstantial
evidence by the investigation team of Police Station Bambooflat.
On 26/09/2026, a complaint regarding the missing of Madid Singh was lodged by his
wife, stating that he had left home for work on 25/09/2026 and did not return. Accordingly,
an FIR was registered at PS Bambooflat and investigation was initiated.
During the course of investigation, analysis of relevant CDR, Subscriber Detail
Records (SDR) and other technical inputs provided vital leads to the investigating team,
which resulted in the identification of a suspect namely Sekh Sabeer. During interrogation
and subsequent investigation, the involvement of other persons allegedly connected with
the offence namely Pradeep Singh, Sumit Kujur and 01 CCL.
On 02/10/2026, all accused persons involved in the murder were arrested and 01
CCL was apprehended following due legal formalities. During further investigation, the
police team recovered the dead body of the deceased from Jinga Nallah, Mile Tilak in a
decomposed condition. The deceased was subsequently sent to GB Pant Hospital for post-
mortem examination. The vehicles allegedly used in the commission of the offence and
weapons used were also seized. Further investigation of the case is under process.
The case was successfully worked out through the coordinated efforts of the
investigation team comprising Inspr. S Kannan, SHO, PS Bambooflat; SI Dinesh
Meena, Sudhir Kumar & Mandeep; ASI Vinodh & KP Abdul Manaf; HCs Anand Prakash
Lakra, R.K Dey, Biplop Das, Md. Hussain, K Ali, MT Mohd Mustafa, A Ali & K.Ummar
Farooq; and PCs P. Abdul Basheer, Heena, Imtiyaz Ali, Thanga Raj & G.Ravi; FC Mohd
Unais. The above police personnel were divided into three teams viz. Technical
Analysis, Search & Apprehension of accused and Field Intelligence collection.
The investigation was carried out under the supervision of Shri Deependra Kumar
Singh, SDPO, Bambooflat.
The South Andaman District Police also appeals to the general public to actively
share any credible information regarding any illegal activities to Police. The information

rewarded and identity will be kept secret.
